Veterans Day Service Project

HPEM Students Thank Local Veterans

There are nearly 8,000 veterans in Florence County, and that is one of the reasons we decided that our first service project as the new PTO executive committee would involve those who served our country. We would like to thank all of the Hannah-Pamplico Elementary/Middle School students, teachers, staff, administrators, and families for supporting this project.

Our HPEM students created over 200 cards and drawings to thank our Veterans. They were given to Veterans at the HPEM Veterans Day program and delivered by students to Veterans Village in Florence on November 11.

We are looking forward to an amazing year!
